New England Authentic Eats LLC is the parent company of two iconic New England restaurant chains: Papa Gino's Pizzeria and D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches.

Established in 1961, Papa Gino's specializes in traditional thin-crust pizzas, pasta dishes, subs, salads, and a variety of appetizers.

With nearly 80 locations across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Connecticut, Papa Gino's has been a staple in the region for over six decades.

D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches, founded in 1967, is renowned for its made-to-order grilled sandwiches, including the famous Number 9® and original Steak & Cheese.

The menu also features rice and grain bowls, lobster rolls, salads, wraps, and soups.

Operating over 80 locations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Connecticut, D'Angelo has been serving New Englanders for more than 50 years.

In 2018, the parent company filed for bankruptcy protection and was subsequently acquired by Wynnchurch Capital, leading to the formation of New England Authentic Eats LLC.

This acquisition paved the way for revitalization efforts, including modernization of existing restaurants and the introduction of co-branded locations that combine both Papa Gino's and D'Angelo under one roof.

These co-branded restaurants offer an integrated menu, allowing guests to enjoy favorites from both brands in a single dining experience.

Community involvement remains a cornerstone of New England Authentic Eats' operations.

In 2022, the company donated over $200,000 to local organizations through various campaigns and charitable efforts.
