The National Black MBA Association® (NBMBAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering economic equity and career advancement for historically underrepresented professionals and aspiring leaders. Established in 1970 at the University of Chicago, NBMBAA has grown into a premier business organization.
It has over 11,000 student and professional members across more than 30 local chapters nationwide. The association leads in creating educational, wealth-building, and growth opportunities for individuals throughout their careers as students, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
NBMBAA achieves this through transformative educational programs, robust professional networks, and actionable advocacy for wealth creation and inclusion.
Annual Conference and Career Exposition
One of NBMBAA's flagship events is the Annual Conference and Career Exposition, the nation's largest diversity career fair. This event brings together thousands of professionals and students.
It offers a platform for networking, professional development, and career opportunities. The upcoming 47th Annual Conference and Career Expo is scheduled for September 24-26, 2025, in Houston, Texas.
