Fixins Soul Kitchen is a full-service soul food restaurant chain that celebrates the rich history and traditions of African American culture. Founded in 2019 by former NBA player and Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson and his wife, Michelle Rhee, the restaurant offers an inclusive environment that welcomes everyone.

The menu at Fixins Soul Kitchen features a variety of authentic soul food dishes, many inspired by family recipes. Signature items include 24-hour brined fried chicken, fried catfish, oxtails, and smothered pork chops.

Popular appetizers include fried deviled eggs, catfish nuggets, and fried green tomatoes. Sides like mac and cheese, collard greens, and candied yams complement the main courses, providing a well-rounded dining experience.
