Position: Special Events Planner
About: Plans, organizes, oversees, and evaluates the activities, budget, facilities, and staff for RCSCW Special Events, focusing on coordinating recreation activities and specialized events for an adult planned retirement community.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of related recreation management experience; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Publisher and Excel; expertise in community services program planning, events planning, marketing theories, record-keeping methods, safety practices, age-appropriate activities, and relevant laws and regulations; understanding of SCW clubs procedures and ability to work independently
