Position: Norterra BackLot – Barback
About: Harkins Theatres, a leading entertainment company, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Barback to support all bar activities, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth bar operations. The role involves assisting with opening and closing tasks, stocking bar supplies, learning menu items, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: 1 year of experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar preferred; required to be at least 19 years of age; available to work nights, holidays, and/or weekends; able to work in a fast-paced, loud environment and in a standing position for extended periods of time; required to obtain and maintain a current food handler’s card and/or food safety certification; required to complete Responsible Vendor Training; capable of physical tasks like bending, stretching, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and interacting with guests and employees; proficient in primary language(s) used in the workplace, possess basic math skills, and operate a point-of-sale system; organized, detail-oriented, and team-oriented; able to remain calm, exercise good judgment, prioritize tasks, and handle confidential information.
