About: Navy Morticians play a crucial role in honoring fallen Sailors by handling all aspects of the process with dignity and respect. As military personnel, they communicate with families and foreign governments, prepare bodies, and conduct funeral services. The role is part of the Hospital Corpsman program within the Navy, emphasizing honor and respect for the deceased.
Requirements: U.S. citizen or equivalent; high school graduate or equivalent; 17 years of age or older; graduated from an accredited mortuary school; hold a license as a funeral director and embalmer in one of the 50 states
