Position: HOST/HOSTESS – MIJO MODERN MEXICAN
About: This position is for a hostess at a high-volume restaurant environment, where the primary responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a positive guest experience. The establishment focuses on providing exceptional customer service and a welcoming atmosphere for its guests.
Requirements: 1 year experience as a hostess in a high-volume restaurant environment or 6 months experience in a fine dining establishment required; 1 year experience in marketing nightclubs, restaurants, or related experience in a Retail or marketing internship or related university marketing course preferred; experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.; good communication skills; must be able to speak and read English proficiently; ability to program and operate a multi-line telephone; basic computer skills and experience with POS systems and cash handling skills; ability to work well in a high-stress, high-volume environment; ability to follow directions, make quick decisions, and stay organized under pressure; positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to learn; ability to perform duties with care, concern, and attention to detail; professionally groomed; physically able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
