Position: Front Desk Supervisor – Neurology
About: Under the oversight of the Manager or Director of Ambulatory Services, The Front Desk Supervisor acts as Team Leader and supervisor for the Migraine program in the 100 Med Plaza of the clinic administrative staff. This role involves managing and assigning workflow within the team, providing coaching for performance improvement, assisting in the scheduling process, care coordination, and patient satisfaction optimization. The Front Desk Supervisor will also act as a liaison for patients and physicians, facilitate communication, and provide leadership and support to the clinical staff in the Neurology clinic in 300 Med Plaza as needed.
Requirements: Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with faculty, staff, administration, and patients from various backgrounds; creative integration of competing demands into a productive working environment; skill in verbal communications to convey complex problems effectively; ability to interact diplomatically with patients in varying health conditions; knowledge of specialty practices, patient-related policies, University systems, hospital computer systems, authorization processes, and managed care programs.
