Position: EVENTS COORDINATOR
About: Michaels Store in Columbus-Powell, OH is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Event Coordinator to facilitate a variety of events, including kids’ birthday parties, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall guest experience at the store. This role involves engaging with clients of all ages in a creative and fun environment, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring operational efficiency in line with the company’s brand promises.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in event coordination, customer service, and retail environment; excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to interact effectively with guests of all ages; prior experience working with children and managing children’s events; knowledge of store operational tasks like merchandise duties and store recovery standards
