Position: Day Porter
About: This is a full-time position for a Day Porter at a facility building. The role involves cleaning and maintaining the facility, including moving furniture and equipment, cleaning various areas, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the environment. The Day Porter will also assist in meeting room set up and break down, handle biohazard waste, and participate in outdoor area maintenance as needed.
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred; 1 year experience working as a Day Porter or similar role; ability to work on your feet most of the shift; familiarity with cleaning activities for different areas within a facility; knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services; ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds daily; standing for up to two hours at a time; climbing ladders and bending; ability to follow written and verbal instructions; commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
