Position: Bartender job
About: At Miller’s Ale House, you’ll be a part of a full-service bar featuring specialty cocktails, a diverse wine selection, and over 75 varieties of local craft, seasonal, and domestic beers, creating a unique atmosphere for our guests.
Requirements: Arrives to work on time as scheduled in full uniform; Greets guests warmly and acknowledges everyone within 5 feet with a smile; Provides highest level of service by adhering to all Miller’s Ale House service standards; Serves alcoholic beverages according to company standards and state alcohol service requirements; Works with team members to ensure all guest needs are met promptly; Maintains bar and menu knowledge to address guest questions including food allergy issues; Ensures proper food handling and sanitation of work areas; Interacts with guests to create Ale House Raving Fans; Notifies management immediately of any potential guest, team member, or operational issue; Washes hands every 30 minutes throughout the shift; Ensures responsible service of food and alcohol in accordance with company standards and state requirements; Maintains clean and sanitized work areas; Supports other front of house functions as needed; Communicates effectively with team members and management to stay informed; Possesses communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment; Ability to work with numbers and handle cash; Possesses basic reading and handwriting skills with the ability to operate restaurant point-of-sale software; Must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law; Sets up team members for success at shift change by ensuring side work and stations are properly stocked; Able to perform physical job functions with reasonable accommodation such as standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, squatting, lifting, and carrying up to 25 lbs for short distances, working with varying noise levels, and engaging in frequent communication with managers, team members, and guests.
