The role of Event Staff, specifically porters, at Zingerman's Cornman Farms is a temporary, part-time position running from August 2026 through October 2026. The position plays a vital role in delivering the outstanding Cornman Farms experience to every guest. Event Staff are responsible for multiple aspects of event preparation and execution, including setting up and breaking down events, dishwashing, moving and arranging tables and chairs, assisting with food prep and plating, and helping keep the event spaces pristine and inviting. The job requires flexibility with scheduling, including the ability to work evenings and weekends, as Fridays and Sundays are the busiest event days. Candidates must be available for at least ten out of twelve specified event dates during the season. Starting times for shifts can be as early as 8:00 a.m. and end as late as 1:00 a.m., with typical shifts lasting from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Compensation for the role is $16 per hour, with eligibility to participate in an hourly tip pool averaging an additional $5 per hour.
