In addition to serving specialty food stores, cafes, and restaurants throughout southeastern Michigan, the Bakehouse also caters to customers nationwide through Zingerman's Mail Order, shipping freshly made baked goods all across the United States.

We are currently seeking a Pastry Packager to join our enthusiastic and experienced team. This role is perfect for someone who finds joy in creating beautiful, hand-crafted pastries and takes pride in preparing delicious products that bring smiles to people's faces. Whether you are someone who regularly shares baked goods at social gatherings or someone fascinated by the art of packaging food to perfection, this position welcomes your unique qualities and passion. No prior baking experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training to help you thrive. As a Pastry Packager, you will be engaged in an active, physical role that not only ensures excellent product presentation but also fosters team spirit with supportive colleagues and management.

In this position, you will get the opportunity to work alongside managing partners who started as hourly staff and understand the potential for growth within the company. You will also gain valuable business education by observing and implementing Zingerman's acclaimed business practices, which can significantly enhance your resume. This role offers a full-time schedule with 40 hours a week during the hours of 11 am to 9 pm, including weekends and holidays, especially requiring full availability during the busy months of October, November, and December.
