This full-time position requires 40 hours per week and involves working eight-hour shifts between 6 am and 4 pm, including weekends and holidays. Candidates must have full availability during the busy months of October, November, and December, reflecting the bakery's peak demand period. Compensation ranges from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour based on the applicant's prior experience. As a pastry baker, you will be responsible for making hand-crafted artisan pastries such as sour cream coffee cakes, ginger jump-up cookies, magic brownies, and Swiss buttercream frosting. This physically active role demands the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, and engage in repetitive hand movements necessary for precise baking tasks.
