Job Requirements

  • Full time availability
  • Weekend availability including Saturdays
  • Holiday availability
  • Flexibility in scheduling
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Comfortable with repetitive motion activities
  • Comfortable working in warm, humid environments
  • Ability to arrive on time and self-manage
  • Willingness to complete training and participate in team meetings

Job Qualifications

  • No prior baking experience needed
  • Ability to work 8 hour shifts between 5am and 3pm
  • Full time availability for 40 hours per week
  • Weekend and holiday availability
  • Full availability in October, November, and December
  • Ability to work quickly and with urgency
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Ability to accurately scale and hand-shape dough
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully
  • Physical stamina for lifting, standing, bending, and repetitive motions

Job Duties

  • Work quickly and with a sense of urgency at all times
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Accurately scale dough
  • Hand-shape multiple types of dough
  • Work well with others in a team environment
  • Self-manage and work independently with little direction
  • Arrive on time to all shifts
  • Prepare ingredients and set-up work including boards, screens, pans, and other equipment
  • Load and unload bread in the ovens
  • Monitor the proofing and baking of breads
  • Work safely around hot ovens, heavy equipment, and sharp utensils
  • Clean dishes and work area using industrial dishwashing machines and by hand
  • Keep a clean and sanitary work area
  • Complete basic orientation training within 90 days
  • Attend and participate in department and staff huddles
  • Be flexible with schedule
  • Follow through with verbal instructions
