Job Description

FIFA26 is the organizing body responsible for delivering the FIFA World Cup 26, one of the most prestigious and widely viewed sporting events globally. This upcoming FIFA World Cup in 2026 promises to be a historic tournament, as it will be the first time the event features 48 teams instead of the traditional 32. The tournament will be hosted across three North American countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States. This landmark event not only represents a new era of football excellence but also opens doors to unparalleled opportunities for fan engagement, cross-cultural interaction, and international collaboration. Hosting such a monumental event requires meticulous planning, innovative logistics, and a dedicated team committed to delivering an extraordinary experience for players, fans, and partners alike.

In this dynamic context, FIFA26 is currently seeking a Youth Program Coordinator to join its workforce for the match day only operations at the local venue level. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of operational and logistical plans at tournament venues. Reporting directly to the local Venue Operations Director, the Youth Program Coordinator will be responsible for on-site management during events, providing real-time operational support and problem-solving to guarantee seamless delivery. This position demands effective coordination with venue teams, contractors, local authorities, and cross-functional teams across the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The Coordinator will uphold FIFA's rigorous standards to ensure that all operational facets align with the organization’s commitment to excellence.

This is a fixed-term contract position based onsite in Atlanta. The role requires a candidate who is able to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and who possesses strong project management, operational coordination skills, and a passion for ensuring success in large-scale international events. Candidates should be fluent in English, with Spanish and/or French proficiency considered an asset. The ideal candidate should be proficient in MS Office Suite and capable of utilizing planning software and online collaboration tools effectively.

Working for FIFA26 means contributing to a once-in-a-lifetime global event that will captivate audiences worldwide and create unforgettable memories. The organization offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, and a 401k retirement plan. This is an exceptional opportunity for motivated professionals eager to make a significant impact and be part of a visionary team planning and executing one of sport's greatest spectacles.
