Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club has been a cornerstone of the community for over 70 years, proudly serving 150 to 200 children daily. The organization offers a range of programs designed to help youth develop essential skills that support a successful transition from childhood through adolescence and into adulthood. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience working with children
- availability Monday to Friday 3pm to 7pm
- ability to work September 2025 to June 2026
- excellent communication skills
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- experience working with children
- experience in camp or sports coaching preferred
- knowledge of childhood education principles
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to manage and lead a small team
- passion for youth development
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- support and guide youth development assistants
- assist children with homework
- organize recreational and educational activities
- implement programming from Boys & Girls Club of America
- ensure safety and well-being of children
- build positive relationships with families and youth
- act as a mentor and role model
