Job Requirements

College degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of Young Life experience as staff or volunteer
Commitment to Christian faith and adherence to Young Life Statement of Faith
Ability to manage multiple high school ministry teams
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Willingness to participate in outdoor camp activities
Ability to handle physical demands of ministry work outdoors

Job Qualifications

College degree preferred
Experience in direct ministry
Proven relational skills with kids and adults
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Duties

Develop a yearly personal growth plan fostering spiritual life
Seek and maintain relationships and disciplines in a church community
Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development
Meet with volunteer leaders and area leadership regularly
Recruit and train new leaders to reflect the community
Model excellence in contact work, clubs, and camping to other leaders
Assist in training leaders and committees on team effectiveness and ministry strategy
Raise financial support and maintain donor care
Communicate ministry updates to donors
Network with key community adults like principals and pastors
Plan and execute area fundraising events
Engage actively in all three levels of contact work
Lead planning and conduct of Young Life club and discipleship ministries
Implement summer and school-season camping strategies
Serve on a Young Life summer camp assignment
Adhere to policies, maintain professionalism in office conduct
Manage finances with stewardship and transparency
Maintain accurate records on kids, leaders, and donors
Provide clear and professional communication
Set and review yearly strategic ministry plans
Perform other duties aligned with gifts and area needs
