The Yardspotter position at McLane is an essential role within the distribution center. This job involves managing trailer movement, preparing trailers for shipping, and monitoring the status of loaded trailers to ensure safe and efficient transportation. Yardspotters operate tractor or yard trucks to move trailers to specific doors or parking locations, inspect trailers for defects, and verify that products are secure and refrigeration units are functioning properly. This role demands a blend of physical capability, attention to detail, and operational knowledge.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with hours from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The pay rate ranges from $24.75 to $30.25 per hour. Employees will benefit from a comprehensive benefits package starting on the 60th day of employment, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as company-paid life insurance and flexible spending accounts. Paid vacation and sick leave accrue from day one, with paid holidays available after 90 days.
