This position is for a Class A CDL Yard Driver based in Houston, Texas, specifically supporting one of Ruan's dedicated customers, Flowers. The role involves moving trailers within the yard and between bakeries, ensuring that logistics flow smoothly. Yard drivers will operate yard horses and handle 53-foot dry van trailers, completing an average of 30 to 50 trailer moves per shift. Occasionally, drivers may shuttle trailers or deliver loads, requiring flexibility and efficiency.

The position offers a work schedule from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., with days off on Wednesdays and Thursdays, allowing for a stable routine and balance between work and personal life. Drivers will get paid weekly at a rate of $21 per hour with the opportunity to earn overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a week. This employment type is full-time and provides steady income and consistent hours.
