The current opportunity is for a Warehouse Trailer Operator located in Abilene, TX. This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Thursday, working the night shift from 10 PM to 6:30 AM, and on Friday from 6 PM to 6:30 AM. Compensation for this role ranges from $17.30 to $25.82 per hour depending on the candidate's experience and skills. Additional earning opportunities include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

The role of the Warehouse Trailer Operator is essential to the smooth operation of the warehouse and logistics processes. The primary responsibility involves moving trailers across lots during loading and related functions to ensure efficiency in material handling and shipment preparation. This position requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 60 pounds repeatedly.

Operators will conduct daily inspections of trailers that contain raw materials, finished goods, and empty trailers that need to be relocated or loaded. Proper storage and maintenance of trailers not in use are critical parts of the job, as is ensuring that customer pick-up trailers are organized correctly at the dock. The role requires vigilance to maintain accurate records of trailer movements and to confirm that all trailers brought to the docks have their wheels chocked to prevent accidents.

Reporting any damages or operational issues promptly is a key responsibility, contributing to the safety and efficiency of the warehouse operations. Candidates with prior forklift experience, the ability to operate manual or powered pallet jacks, and certification are preferred. Additionally, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A is advantageous if the role involves transporting products on public roads. Job Requirements

  • 1+ year prior warehouse/stocking/fork-lift experience preferred
  • ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product
  • fork-lift certification is required

Job Duties
