The Yard Associate position at Kahoots is suited for outgoing, driven, and hardworking individuals. This role requires a willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. Yard Associates help customers by handling heavy items such as bags of feed and bales of hay, which often weigh over 100 pounds. The role involves physical labor combined with strong teamwork and product knowledge to assist both customers and fellow employees. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and available to work 32 to 40 hours per week, preferably in 8-hour shifts, including weekdays and weekends. The nature of the work demands being on one’s feet for extended periods and the ability to operate effectively in a sales-oriented environment. Bilingual skills are considered a plus, enhancing the ability to communicate with a broader range of customers. The job also requires the ability to perform various physical activities such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy loads for multiple hours a day, standing and walking for long durations, bending and twisting regularly, and occasionally climbing ladders.
