The Porter/Yard Worker at Sunbelt Rentals plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operations of the rental yard. This position involves the stationing and retrieval of equipment on the property, ensuring that all tools and machinery are organized and ready for use. The Yard Associate manages a written maintenance schedule and is responsible for servicing equipment as needed to meet set specifications. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience with construction and industrial tools preferred
  • Some mechanical equipment repair experience or training preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers both orally and in writing
  • Basic math skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors
  • Safety focused
  • Bilingual skills may be required based on location

Job Qualifications
