This position is for a Radiologic Technologist who plays a vital role in the diagnostic process by performing radiographic procedures with precision and care. The technologist must provide excellent patient care, recognizing that patients may be in pain, and adhering to AIDET communication guidelines to ensure a professional and compassionate interaction. The job requires attention to detail such as verifying positive patient identification before each exam and safely managing contrast media, including accurate documentation and monitoring patients for adverse reactions. The technologist is responsible for acquiring diagnostic-quality images that meet the radiologist's requirements, often needing to adapt techniques when patients’ mobility is limited. Understanding that the operating room is a priority area, the technologist must respond quickly to urgent surgical imaging needs.

The role includes responsibilities such as preparing and orienting patients, providing radiation protection for the patient and staff, operating and maintaining imaging and computer equipment, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the radiology department. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for cooperation with patients, physicians, staff, and visitors, ensuring a courteous and professional environment.
