Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medical assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP)
  • Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BMXO/BMO) license required in state of residency
  • Current BLS certification required within 30 days of start
  • Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 3 months of employment
  • Must obtain Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment
  • Flexible to work Monday through Sunday between 8am and 8pm

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of medical assistants or completion of an approved program
  • Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BMXO/BMO) license required in state of residency
  • Current BLS certification required within 30 days of start
  • Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred
  • Experience using an EHR system is beneficial
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Job Duties

  • Take vital signs
  • Collect lab specimens
  • Perform EKGs
  • Administer IM injections
  • Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider's orders and update patient charts accordingly
  • Collect patient history and document EHR appropriately
  • Apply splints, dressings, and bandages
  • Assist with check-in/check-out including auditing charts
  • Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent to other labs
  • Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress
