Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited school of medical assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP)
- Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BMXO/BMO) license required in state of residency
- Current BLS certification required within 30 days of start
- Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification within 3 months of employment
- Must obtain Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment
- Flexible to work Monday through Sunday between 8am and 8pm
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of medical assistants or completion of an approved program
- Radiological Technologist (RT) or Basic X-ray Machine Operator (BMXO/BMO) license required in state of residency
- Current BLS certification required within 30 days of start
- Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred
- Experience using an EHR system is beneficial
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is helpful
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Job Duties
- Take vital signs
- Collect lab specimens
- Perform EKGs
- Administer IM injections
- Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider's orders and update patient charts accordingly
- Collect patient history and document EHR appropriately
- Apply splints, dressings, and bandages
- Assist with check-in/check-out including auditing charts
- Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent to other labs
- Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress
