Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of progressive hotel or related experience preferred
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- Ability to work flexible and long hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong communication skills
- Must demonstrate initiative and problem-solving abilities
- Must maintain professional appearance and grooming standards
- Ability to carry and use a pager or radio for communication
- Must be able to handle and monitor lost and found processes
- Capability to coordinate with multiple departments effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- College coursework in related field helpful
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in high-pressure situations

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with scheduling requirements
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Comply with hospitality service standards and regulations
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
- Ensure employees are attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous
- Inspect room attendants' work performance daily
- Inspect VIP rooms and report availability in the absence of management
- Oversee closing of floors and ensure carts are cleaned and restocked
- Ensure daily assignment records are completed and returned on time
- Maintain key control
- Handle lost and found items according to standards
- Monitor cleanliness and orderliness of carts, linen closets, and stairways
- Oversee daily assignment of duties for room and house attendants
- Carry pager or radio for communication with Front Office and Engineering
- Report progress on out-of-order rooms
- Initiate and follow through on work orders for maintenance
- Assist with training housekeeping staff
- Ensure completion of biannual cleaning projects
- Attend meetings and training as required
- Perform other duties as requested by management
