Wormtown Brewery, a vibrant and community-focused establishment located on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester, is excited to launch a brand-new kitchen program and is actively seeking enthusiastic and skilled Kitchen Operations Cooks to join their team. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18+ years of age
  • at least 3-5 years of prior cooking or line experience preferred
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • must be able to stand for extended periods, lift 50 lbs, and handle hot items safely
  • available for nights, weekends, and peak service hours
  • ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
  • reliable transportation to and from work

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during service
  • follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
  • set up, maintain, and break down workstations
  • assist with inventory, product rotation (FIFO), and labeling
  • communicate clearly with kitchen leadership and teammates
  • support the kitchen team during busy service periods
