Job Description

We are partnering with a leading global investment firm to hire a Workplace Services Associate (Food & Events) for their New York City office located in Hudson Yards. This firm is recognized worldwide for its influence and leadership in the investment sector, with a commitment to maintaining a professional and service-oriented work environment. The company values collaboration, innovation, and excellence in all aspects of its operations, making it an attractive workplace for those seeking a dynamic corporate setting in the heart of NYC. As an established leader in financial services, this firm continues to expand its team-oriented culture and investment solutions on a global scale.

This position as a Workplace Services Associate is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a well-established and collaborative team that supports day-to-day catering operations and event logistics in a highly professional corporate environment. The role primarily involves managing catering requests within internal systems, coordinating with on-site vendors including food service providers and facilities teams to ensure seamless execution of meetings and events. It also requires overseeing the review of menus and accommodating dietary restrictions, preparing meeting rooms, and ensuring that events are executed smoothly from start to finish. The Workplace Services Associate will assist with high-volume visitor flow during busy periods and support light hands-on tasks to enhance event success.

This role is designed for someone who thrives in a process-driven environment and enjoys multitasking with a service-focused mindset. The working environment is hybrid, with onsite presence required Tuesday through Thursday and remote work flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. The position is a 6-month long-term assignment intended to cover a leave, with potential to extend but not expected to convert to a permanent role. The standard working hours are approximately 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, though additional hours may be needed during peak times such as events and summer intern seasons. Compensation for this role is salaried and prorated for the duration of the assignment with a full-time equivalent salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 annually, along with benefits throughout the assignment period.

Overall, the Workplace Services Associate plays a crucial role in enhancing the workplace experience by ensuring that all food and event services are delivered smoothly and efficiently, supporting a positive and productive environment for employees and visitors alike. This is an ideal position for candidates with a background in food services, hospitality, catering, or events looking to leverage their skills in a corporate setting that values teamwork and operational excellence.
