Job Description
Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) - Local is a specialized arm of CBRE that offers tailored facility management solutions focused on hard services. Unlike traditional facility management providers, GWS - Local self-performs hard services, which means they directly deliver critical maintenance and repair functions, ensuring high-quality outcomes. The company also partners with leading soft services providers, enabling them to deliver comprehensive and customized facility and project management solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. GWS - Local's approach centers on empowering its team through downstream accountability, promoting agility and efficient service delivery, which ultimately benefits clients by ensuring responsive and effective facility management support.
GWS - Local doesn’t only provide core facility and project management capabilities; it extends its service offering through an integrated platform that grants direct access to best-in-class services including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, Security Consulting, Workplace Strategy, and Workplace Experience. This holistic service approach makes GWS - Local a leader in innovative facility management solutions, blending operational excellence with cutting-edge workplace strategies designed for the modern work environment.
About the Role: As a CBRE Receptionist within the Workplace Experience function, you play a key role in delivering world-class customer service by providing essential administrative support to the department or office. Your responsibilities will encompass greeting visitors warmly and professionally, managing incoming calls, scheduling meeting rooms, and executing other vital clerical duties necessary for smooth office operations. This position not only requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills but also an ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
Working as a receptionist in this capacity means you are the face of CBRE to clients, visitors, and colleagues alike, making your role pivotal in shaping positive workplace interactions. From issuing visitor passes and parking validations while maintaining strict security protocols to preparing meeting spaces including catering arrangements and technological setups, your role is comprehensive and directly impacts the overall workplace experience. You will also be expected to manage mail and package tracking, coordinate hospitality services, and handle office supply orders.
CBRE’s workplace culture emphasizes respect, integrity, service, and excellence. Joining CBRE as a receptionist means becoming part of a global leader in commercial real estate services and investment, committed to fostering diverse perspectives and supporting employee growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to develop their administrative and customer service skills while contributing to a forward-thinking, collaborative team environment. You will have the chance to build a meaningful career path with a company that values professional development and inclusivity.
