The role of Workplace Experience Manager at CBRE is a pivotal leadership position within the Workplace Experience function. The manager oversees a team responsible for a wide range of services including concierge, reception, meeting and event management, and administrative office duties. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively supervise employees, manage daily team operations, and foster a high-performance environment while ensuring alignment with CBRE's core values.

In this position, the Workplace Experience Manager is tasked with the recruitment, training, and development of staff, including conducting performance evaluations and mentoring employees to achieve their full potential. The manager also designs and manages work schedules, assigns tasks, and tracks the progress of team and departmental goals. Building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients is paramount, as is negotiating with clients, partners, and associates to resolve conflicting priorities and deliver outstanding workplace services.

The Workplace Experience Manager actively supports operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for process improvements and developing strategic solutions to enhance service quality. This role also involves collaboration with vendors to secure contract services, manage costs, and ensure compliance with insurance and contractual requirements. The manager supervises third-party vendor programs such as food delivery, event organization, transportation, and mail distribution, ensuring accurate billing and delivery of services.

Safety is a critical component in this role; the manager ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards for employees, clients, and vendors. The Workplace Experience Manager position offers a competitive salary range from $105,000 to $115,000 annually, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Provide formal supervision to employees

  • Always follow safety standards with employees, clients, and vendors
  • Develop vendor partnerships with the intention of cost saving efforts
  • Manage negotiations for contract services
  • Confirm that all vendors have current proof of insurance and contractual documentation
  • Oversee programs ran by third party vendors including food delivery, organizing events, providing transportation, or mail distribution
  • Ensure all invoices for business services billed
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values
  • Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes
