Job Description

Everlaw is a cutting-edge technology company headquartered in Oakland, California, specializing in the development of sophisticated ediscovery software used by law firms, government agencies, and corporations to manage and analyze vast amounts of legal data for high-profile litigation and investigations. With a focus on promoting justice through technology, Everlaw has rapidly grown into a multi-billion dollar industry player, with a diverse clientele that includes all 50 state Attorneys General and hundreds of law firms. The culture at Everlaw is open, vibrant, and committed to fostering professional growth, diversity, and inclusion among its team members. The company embraces values such as passion, integrity, and a desire to learn, providing a supportive environment where ideas and innovation thrive. Everlaw also offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports employee wellness, career development, and work-life balance.

The Workplace Experience Manager will be the keystone of Everlaw's Oakland headquarters, responsible for orchestrating a dynamic and inclusive office environment that not only supports but enhances the day-to-day experiences of all employees and visitors. As the primary architect of the office atmosphere, you will manage a wide range of responsibilities from overseeing workplace operations and vendor relationships to organizing large-scale events that build community and foster belonging within the organization. This full-time, exempt position requires consistent in-office presence to ensure seamless execution and engagement with the hybrid work model.

In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Facilities, IT, Finance, and People Programs to align workplace initiatives with Everlaw's culture and business goals. You will lead efforts in crafting thoughtful workspace layouts that prioritize accessibility and inclusion, shape food and beverage programs that cater to diverse employee preferences, and design creative cultural initiatives that enhance employee engagement.

The Workplace Experience Manager will also be accountable for managing the workplace budget for the Oakland office, tracking expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and continuously improving operational workflows. Using both qualitative and quantitative feedback mechanisms, you will serve as the voice of the employees, ensuring their needs are heard and addressed at all organizational levels.

This position demands a unique blend of operational excellence, hospitality-driven leadership, event planning expertise, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. Candidates should have a minimum of five years' experience in workplace operations, facilities management, or corporate hospitality, preferably within a high-growth tech environment. Exceptional communication skills and a passion for fostering inclusive workplace cultures are essential to succeed in this role.

Everlaw emphasizes that they do not seek the perfect candidate and encourages those who resonate with the company’s values and mission to apply, even if they do not meet every qualification. The role offers a competitive salary range of $142,000 to $165,000, dependent on experience, along with a robust benefits package including equity participation, health benefits, retirement plans with matching, paid parental leave, vacation time, and professional development stipends.

By joining Everlaw as the Workplace Experience Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping a workplace where every Everlawyer can thrive, contribute, and do their best work, directly supporting the company’s mission to promote justice by illuminating the truth.
