The role of Workplace Experience Lead is crucial in shaping the daily environment of Voleon's Miami office. This position is designed for a highly proactive individual who thrives in a high-ownership role and enjoys building robust systems and processes from the ground up. This includes managing vendor relationships, setting up and overseeing food and beverage programs such as lunches and snacks, organizing office events and employee experiences, and leading facilities projects including maintenance, repairs, and office improvements.
You will take ownership of launching the Miami office, handling everything from furniture installation to vendor coordination and ongoing office operations. Your role requires responding promptly and thoughtfully to employee requests, tracking space usage, managing inventory, and ensuring systems remain organized as the office expands from an initial 10-15 employees. Additionally, you will serve as an approachable onsite point of contact who supports HR-related needs and collaborates closely with the Workplace team in Berkeley to implement consistent workplace standards and processes. The position requires a hands-on, onsite presence five days a week, with occasional involvement in evening events.
