The Workplace Experience (WE) Host role is a vital position within the Latham & Watkins ecosystem, specifically located in the Houston, TX office. This full-time, in-office position demands a presence five days a week, underscoring the importance of face-to-face interaction in fostering a welcoming and efficient office environment. The WE Host is entrusted with facilitating an exceptional workplace atmosphere by providing a warm and professional welcome to all personnel and visitors, ensuring their time in the office is both comfortable and productive. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who anticipates client and staff needs, coordinates internal and external events, and supports the technological and operational functions essential to smooth office happenings.
The responsibilities of the WE Host extend beyond mere greeting; they include the management of audiovisual technology, first-line tech support, and the maintenance of communication channels within the Workplace Experience team. By managing multiple logistical tasks such as room bookings, transportation coordination, and minor maintenance requests, the WE Host supports the daily operational flow. Confidentiality and discretion are paramount, as this role involves handling sensitive information with the utmost integrity.

Job Duties
- Welcoming all personnel and external visitors
- anticipating internal and external guest needs by understanding in-office services and work areas
- providing first-line technology assistance and ensuring audiovisual equipment is functioning and ready in advance
- maintaining Workplace Experience and other relevant inbox communication in collaboration with the WE 24/7 team
- executing various support tasks including booking conference rooms and visitor offices, ordering taxis, logging or handling minor repairs, print and mail support, HVAC adjustment inquiries, accessing card loans, ordering supplies
- protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
