Job Description

CBRE is a global leader in real estate services, providing premier workspace solutions and property management services worldwide. As a company deeply rooted in client-centric service, innovation, and integrity, CBRE boasts a rich legacy of creating exceptional workplace experiences that empower employees and support business success. With a focus on fostering inclusive and dynamic environments, CBRE serves a broad spectrum of industries and clients, ensuring that every workplace is not only functional but also welcoming and inspiring.

At CBRE, the Workplace Experience Host Team plays a vital role in shaping the daily experiences of employees and visitors by delivering white glove hospitality and excellent service. Their commitment to fostering positive interactions creates a harmonious and well-organized work environment that promotes productivity and satisfaction. This team's efforts significantly influence the company’s reputation for outstanding workplace service standards.

Joining CBRE as a Workplace Experience Coordinator means becoming part of a dedicated, professional team tasked with the responsibility of enhancing the ambiance and functionality of a designated building. This role is essential in maintaining the high customer service standards that CBRE is known for globally. Employed full-time with competitive compensation reflective of the value the company places on this role, the coordinator acts as the primary liaison for all building occupants and guests, ensuring that every interaction is seamless and hospitable.

The Workplace Experience Coordinator is the welcoming face of the building, the first point of contact for anyone entering the facility. Duties encompass greeting guests with a professional and friendly manner, issuing visitor and parking passes, and following strict security protocols to maintain safety and confidentiality within the premises. The coordinator also manages communications by professionally answering telephone inquiries, preparing presentations, and addressing groups of varying sizes effectively.

This role involves coordinating a variety of activities including recreational, dining, and business engagements to meet employee and visitor needs, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness. Managing janitorial and maintenance work orders, as well as coordinating workplace services such as mail handling, office supplies, and onboarding processes, are also key responsibilities that contribute to the smooth operation of the building.

Handling inquiries and complaints with a customer service focus is paramount, requiring the coordinator to provide prompt, empathetic, and practical solutions. Additionally, organizing and managing onsite events—including securing venues, overseeing setup and teardown, and ensuring that supplies are in place—adds a vibrant dimension to the workplace environment.

Adherence to property-specific security procedures and emergency protocols is critical to ensure the safety of all individuals within the building. The coordinator liaises regularly with vendors supplying workplace services or goods, maintaining effective partnerships that enhance service delivery.

Beyond operational tasks, the role requires clear communication within the team, following instructions meticulously, and applying existing procedures while exercising discretionary judgment when needed. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a customer service-oriented environment, enjoy multitasking, and are passionate about creating a positive workplace ambiance.

CBRE values diversity and inclusion, offering a culture built on respect, integrity, service, and excellence. As an equal opportunity employer, CBRE maintains a firm commitment to provide reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities, ensuring an accessible and supportive recruitment process. Working with CBRE means not only advancing your career but also contributing to a workplace that truly values every individual’s contribution and well-being.
