With a presence in hundreds of cities worldwide, CBRE is dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that enhance the value of real estate assets and improve every workplace environment. The company is renowned for fostering a culture of respect, integrity, service, and excellence, which informs every interaction and business decision. CBRE invests deeply in its people and technology to stay ahead in the ever-evolving real estate market.
The Workplace Experience Host role at CBRE is a vital position within the Workplace Experience function, dedicated to elevating the day-to-day experience of occupants and visitors within the building. This role embodies the principle of white-glove hospitality, serving as the first and most visible point of contact for all clients, guests, and employees entering the facility. The Workplace Experience Coordinator is tasked with ensuring a welcoming and professional environment through exceptional customer service and efficient coordination of building services. This includes managing visitor access, maintaining security protocols, handling inquiries and complaints with empathy and professionalism, and facilitating on-site events and workplace services.
This position requires juggling multiple responsibilities such as issuing visitor and parking passes, answering telephones with a courteous demeanor, organizing and managing mail and office supply services, coordinating maintenance and janitorial requests, and supporting onboarding processes. Furthermore, the role demands strong communication skills to present information clearly to various audiences, from small internal teams to large employee groups. The role also involves working with third-party vendors to ensure smooth service delivery within the building.
Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a passion for hospitality and customer service. The ability to navigate complex situations calmly and professionally is critical, as is the capacity to encourage a positive workplace atmosphere. The job involves physical aspects such as walking, standing for long periods, and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds. Proficiency in digital communication and collaboration tools such as Google Docs and Slack is important, and familiarity with Jira is a plus but not mandatory.
