Job Description
CBRE is the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation in the property industry. Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, CBRE operates globally with a diverse portfolio that spans commercial property management, leasing, investment, valuation, and advisory services. The organization prides itself on fostering a culture of respect, integrity, service, and excellence, making it one of the most admired companies in real estate for multiple consecutive years. Furthermore, CBRE is recognized by Forbes as one of the best large employers in America and one of the World’s Best Employers, reflecting its dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace for its employees.
The Concierge role at CBRE falls under the Workplace Experience function and is vital to delivering world-class customer service in designated buildings, particularly in the San Jose area. This position serves as the important "front face" and receptionist for a premier client within the travel industry, ensuring every visitor, tenant, and guest receives professional and courteous service. Working Monday to Friday, approximately 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with some flexibility required, the Concierge will manage a range of responsibilities including greeting individuals as they enter the facility, assisting with business and personal service requests, and providing local recommendations to enhance the overall experience on-site.
As a CBRE Concierge, you will be the cornerstone of guest relations, facilitating everything from scheduling transportation and making reservations to arranging business activities. This position requires a polished and articulate professional, capable of interacting with C-suite executives and handling sensitive or complex inquiries with ease and discretion. You will maintain a detailed database of local resources such as dining, entertainment, and transportation options, ensuring that all recommendations align with the preferences and needs of clients and tenants. Moreover, you will be expected to uphold property-specific security and emergency protocols, taking swift and appropriate actions to protect the safety of everyone within the building.
Beyond these duties, this role offers opportunities to contribute to team objectives by developing innovative solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Leading by example and embodying CBRE’s RISE values, you will foster a positive and service-oriented environment. Your organizational skills and inquisitive mindset will be essential in managing requests promptly and effectively while supporting management through administrative tasks. Compensation for this role ranges from $21.65 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, complemented by benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan. CBRE offers a supportive environment where employee growth is encouraged, with internal advancement opportunities available after six months. This Concierge position is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious company committed to employee well-being and client satisfaction, where your skills can make a meaningful impact every day.
