Job Description

H3X Technologies is an innovative company positioned at the forefront of the advanced electric motor industry in the United States. The company specializes in developing high-performance electric motor systems that are integral to next-generation aerospace, defense, and marine platforms. With a powerful focus on integrated motor drives delivering over 12 kW/kg—approximately three times the power density of existing solutions—H3X is rapidly scaling to produce megawatt-class systems. Their cutting-edge technologies serve a variety of ambitious projects, such as supersonic aircraft and turbine power generation for AI datacenters. This level of advanced engineering underscores H3X's commitment to pushing the technological boundaries to help shape the future of electric motor applications in critical sectors.

The team at H3X combines expertise from aerospace, defense, and motorsports engineering disciplines, leveraging a deep understanding of electric machines, power electronics, material science, and advanced manufacturing. The company is a relatively small yet dynamically fast-moving startup environment where every individual's contributions have significant impact. Employees at H3X are committed to executing demanding engineering challenges that are crucial to American reindustrialization efforts, working within a tightly integrated design-build-test loop that enables rapid product development cycles.

The Workplace Experience Associate role at H3X is pivotal in fostering a positive and energetic company culture, ensuring that the office environment is both welcoming and conducive to high performance. This role blends culture-building initiatives, event planning, and day-to-day facility operations to create a workspace where employees feel excited and supported every day. The role is ideal for candidates who enjoy crafting memorable experiences, thrive amidst shifting priorities and ambiguity, and aspire to expand their operational responsibilities as the company grows. It offers a unique opportunity to take real ownership in a growing company with a startup pace, providing a launchpad for continuous growth and involvement in various operational aspects.

Key responsibilities for this position include planning and executing company events such as offsites, team lunches, holiday parties, and milestone celebrations, managing vendor relationships, overseeing the daily office experience including supply and workspace management, and supporting onboarding processes to foster employee connection and inclusion. The role also involves handling logistical and budget-related tasks to optimize costs and efficiency, troubleshooting facilities issues, maintaining a safe and organized workplace, and documenting scalable processes to support continuous improvement.

H3X offers a competitive annual salary range for this role from $55,000 to $75,000, depending on experience. In addition to a salary package, the company provides an extensive benefits program that includes medical, vision, dental, disability, and life insurance; an employee equity incentive program; and a 401k plan. Additional perks include a gym membership stipend, an outdoor recreation reimbursement program, flexible working hours, flexible time off, 12 company holidays—including a notable company ski trip—monthly company events, and weekly catered team lunches on Fridays.

Joining H3X means becoming part of a team that values relentless determination, insight through humility, simplicity, flow, and a Solve, Evolve, Nail It, Deliver (SEND) philosophy. H3X fosters an environment where employees work with intention, carry real responsibility, and maintain an extreme ownership mentality. The company actively supports career growth by offering the chance to work alongside world-class engineers and professionals pioneering cutting-edge electric motor technology. H3X is committed to being an equal opportunity employer, promoting diversity and inclusion by considering all qualified applicants without regard to any legally protected statuses.
