Job Description
Osmo is an innovative digital olfaction company committed to revolutionizing how computers perceive and interact with the world through the power of smell. Headquartered in Elizabeth, New Jersey, with a secondary office in Somerville, Massachusetts, Osmo is pioneering technology that gives machines the incredible ability to sense odors, a capability that has significant implications across multiple industries such as fragrance, manufacturing, security, and medicine. The company's mission centers on improving human health and well-being by leveraging olfactory intelligence combined with cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques. This intersection of technology and sensory science places Osmo at the forefront of an emerging technological frontier, introducing novel solutions to problems previously beyond human intuition.
At Osmo, the workplace culture emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. The company values diverse perspectives and is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment that promotes growth and creativity. By employing smart automation and AI-driven processes, Osmo aims to unlock new possibilities for safer, healthier, and more sustainable environments. The environment cultivated at Osmo supports these ambitions by providing team members with the resources, tools, and culture necessary to excel and bring transformative ideas to life.
The role of Workplace Associate at Osmo is a crucial position dedicated to ensuring that the company's New Jersey site operates efficiently, smoothly, and safely at all times. This full-time position offers a salary range of $77,000 to $79,000 and plays a vital role in maintaining the office environment in a manner that supports productivity, collaboration, and a positive employee experience. The Workplace Associate acts as the primary point of contact for all aspects of office operations including facilities coordination, vendor relationships, and logistical support for onsite events and day-to-day needs. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who anticipates issues before they arise and takes initiative to solve problems effectively.
As a Workplace Associate, you will own the management of office spaces, including common areas, conference rooms, and kitchen facilities, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. You will manage inventory for office and pantry supplies, control ordering within established budgets, and serve as the liaison with building management to coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and safety compliance. In addition to operational duties, you will enhance employee engagement through supporting culture initiatives, planning company events, coordinating employee celebration moments, and helping foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
The role also involves managing meeting and event logistics such as room setups, audiovisual support, catering, and conflict resolution for conference room scheduling. Collaboration with the People team and the Manufacturing Facilities Manager helps ensure comprehensive workplace coverage and alignment with company goals. This position suits someone comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong organizational skills and a service-oriented mindset. Working at Osmo provides a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge technology company that values employee well-being through a comprehensive total rewards package, including health benefits, retirement plans, flexible time off, and equity opportunities. Osmo is dedicated to equal employment opportunity and actively fosters diversity, equity, and inclusion across its workforce.
