Job Description

ProAssurance is a leading specialty insurance company dedicated to protecting professionals across various industries. With a strong emphasis on integrity, leadership, and authentic relationships, ProAssurance focuses on providing comprehensive insurance solutions in healthcare professional liability, products liability for medical technology and life sciences, legal professional liability, and workers' compensation insurance. As a recognized player in the insurance market across much of the contiguous United States, the company prides itself on fostering a work environment where employees feel valued, recognized, and rewarded for their contributions. ProAssurance is a part of the Eastern Alliance Insurance Group, which specializes in workers' compensation insurance, and offers tailored insurance policies backed by dedicated risk management services. Based in Central Pennsylvania and supporting territories including Harrisburg, State College, and Williamsport, this position aligns with ProAssurance’s mission to protect and serve its clients effectively.

The role of Senior Risk Management Consultant at ProAssurance involves evaluating loss potential for current and prospective workers’ compensation insurance customers by focusing on workplace safety and health. This consultative role requires a candidate who can develop and execute tailored service plans to minimize policyholder loss exposure, which ultimately improves company profitability and client retention. The consultant will engage closely with clients, agents, underwriters, claims teams, and other stakeholders to maintain a profitable and diverse book of business. In addition to risk evaluation, the position demands oversight of alternative market programs, management of return-to-work initiatives, and the delivery of risk management education and support to clients. The consultant will also participate in stewardship and point-of-sale meetings while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

This is a full-time, remote position with a competitive salary ranging from $76,208 to $125,756, dependent on skills, experience, location, and internal equity considerations. Candidates must be willing to travel extensively within their assigned territories, conduct in-person risk evaluations and client visits, and contribute to ongoing professional growth through certifications and industry involvement. ProAssurance fosters a dynamic and inclusive workplace and partners with The Predictive Index to ensure candidate compatibility and ongoing success. Joining the ProAssurance team means building a career with access to a best-in-class benefits program and opportunities to develop professionally while making a tangible difference in the risk management and insurance landscape.
