We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity in our team as a Consultant focused on Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) implementations. This role offers a chance to contribute to government projects by supporting the design, planning, and execution of Workday Core HR solutions. The Consultant will be responsible for translating client needs into practical business processes, facilitating discovery activities, and ensuring alignment across various functional and technical workstreams.
The Consultant position provides a comprehensive exposure to HR technology transformation projects in the public sector, working with a team of experts dedicated to improving workforce effectiveness and HR operational excellence. The role involves hands-on engagement with process design, readiness planning, and configuration efforts, as well as ongoing support and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of Workday solutions. Candidates will have the opportunity to develop expertise in Workday HCM, gain deep insights into federal HR processes, and contribute to impactful organizational change.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $82,600 to $162,800 depending on experience and qualifications. The role requires an active Top Secret security clearance and includes up to 20% travel to client sites. Job Duties
- supporting the functional design for a Workday Human Capital Management implementation by translating client requirements into aligned core human resources business processes and configuration inputs
- supporting the Workday Core HR workstream through pre-implementation readiness and planning activities including deliverables and milestone tracking
- assisting with pre-implementation discovery and readiness efforts including current-state assessments, future-state process design, requirements validation, and tracking functional risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
- providing Workday functional support by demonstrating Workday capabilities, advising on leading practices and trade-offs, and helping inform client decision-making
- developing and maintaining pre-implementation work products including process maps, requirements and design documentation, configuration workbooks, and inputs for data, security, testing, and cutover readiness
- collaborating with technical and adjacent functional leads to support end-to-end alignment across security, reporting, integrations, and data conversion impacts to core HR
