Job Description

Aimbridge Hospitality is a leading global hospitality management company known for its expansive portfolio and commitment to operational excellence. With a diverse range of properties under management, Aimbridge Hospitality focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue growth, and fostering positive workplace cultures. The company operates a variety of hotel brands and prides itself on cultivating a strong sales culture that aligns with corporate values and business goals. As an industry leader, Aimbridge Hospitality offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment for professionals passionate about hospitality and sales leadership.

The role of the Area Director of Sales (ADOS) at Aimbridge Hospitality is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing and driving sales performance across a designated portfolio of properties. This role requires a strategic sales leader who can inspire and lead a team, optimize revenue generation, and ensure compliance with operational standards. The ADOS is tasked with maintaining a proactive sales approach through telemarketing, client appointments, and property site tours to maximize revenue opportunities. Reporting directly to regional leadership, the ADOS plays a vital role in executing sales strategies, providing coaching, and fostering a cohesive and motivated sales team.

This position is classified as an overtime-eligible manager (OEM), meaning the individual will be expected to work flexible hours as needed to fulfill the extensive responsibilities associated with managing multiple properties and sales teams. The ADOS will be instrumental in promoting guest and employee engagement by upholding professional standards, encouraging positive interactions, and maintaining a supportive work environment. Operational compliance is key, including adhering to all company policies, safety regulations, and maintaining a professional appearance.

The ADOS supervises up to ten team members, demonstrating strong leadership through work scheduling, training initiatives, coaching, and performance reviews. They are responsible for submitting weekly sales reports, updating leadership on progress, and supporting marketing efforts to enhance overall sales results. The role demands excellent communication skills, advanced problem-solving capabilities, and proficiency in financial data analysis.

Located within the vibrant hospitality landscape, the position includes oversight of properties such as the Woodspring Suites Waco South, which offers modern amenities like fitness centers, laundry facilities, and kitchens for guests' convenience. The property's strategic location near major highways and local attractions positions it well for robust sales opportunities. This job offers a competitive benefits package after an initial waiting period, including daily pay options, comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, along with disability income and retirement plans. This career opportunity is ideal for experienced hospitality sales professionals ready to lead impactful teams and drive substantial revenue growth in a supportive environment.
