The role of General Manager at Aimbridge is a pivotal leadership position entrusted with overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring outstanding guest services, and maintaining strong financial performance. Situated conveniently off US-72 and near the University of Alabama, the Wood Spring Suites Huntsville offers modern amenities including in-room kitchens and onsite laundry facilities, providing guests with a comfortable, home-like experience. As General Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing budgets, and implementing sales initiatives that engage key accounts and boost bookings. Your leadership will inspire the team, foster a collaborative environment, and strengthen relationships with property owners, community leaders, and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state
  • At least six years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field or equivalent educational qualifications
  • Ability to work full time in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Availability to manage and oversee day-to-day hotel operations
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and team development
  • Willingness to travel locally as required

Job Qualifications

  • At least six years of progressive experience in hotel management or a related field
  • Four-year college degree with four to five years of related experience or two-year college degree with five to six years of related experience
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage diverse teams
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and revenue
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with guests and stakeholders
  • Proficiency with hospitality management software and reporting tools
  • Demonstrated capability in sales strategies and guest satisfaction initiatives
