We are currently seeking a Steward to join our team, a crucial role that ensures high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our kitchen and back-of-house areas. The Steward acts as the backbone of kitchen operations by maintaining a clean and organized environment, which all culinary and service staff rely upon. This role involves operating dishwashing equipment, handling and storing cleaned items properly, and supporting overall kitchen functionality through various cleaning and restocking tasks. The Steward also plays an important part in upholding food safety and health standards, contributing directly to the seamless execution of daily services and special events. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-concept environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing demands
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand, stoop, bend for extended periods and lift up to 40+ pounds

Job Duties

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dishwashing, and back-of-house areas
Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools
Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of all cleaned items
Support kitchen operations by restocking supplies and assisting with basic cleaning tasks
Remove trash, recycling, and compost while maintaining a clean and safe environment
Clean floors, drains, walls, and equipment according to sanitation standards
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
Assist with banquet and event breakdown, including equipment cleaning and storage
Maintain positive and professional communication with culinary and service teams
Perform other related duties as assigned
