Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a Line Cook or Wok Cook
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks required in a kitchen
  • adherence to food safety and health standards
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
  • maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station on a daily basis
  • requisition and stock all required food, paper products, and condiments
  • handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  • responsible for set-up, maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of kitchen machinery and equipment
  • maintain stock, cutting, and storage of perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
  • take responsibility for quality of products served
  • perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor
  • other duties as assigned
