Job Requirements
- AA degree in related field
- State Substance Abuse Registration or Certification from a California accredited institution
- Experience working with withdrawal management clients and clients in mental health, substance abuse, domestic violence or related field
- Dependable automobile and insurance, registration, and valid California driver's license

Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive assessments and evaluations of service needs
- Intake, counseling and discharge planning
- Assess and record vital signs and withdrawal symptoms using standardized tools
- Recommend interventions to clients and interdisciplinary team
- Develop relationships with client’s family and arrange therapeutic visits
- Coordinate services with other service providers
- Provide referrals and follow-up to ensure service access
- Deliver daily individual counseling and advocacy
- Provide crisis intervention within scope of practice
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team and participate in team meetings
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42CFR, and organizational policies
- Develop and maintain community partnerships and referral networks
- Present to community providers and attend events to increase program visibility
- Collaborate with supervisors to maximize quality and client reach
- Participate in training, supervision, and quality improvement
- Conduct daily chart audits to uphold standards
- Address deficits in documentation
- Manage client records in the EHR system
- Perform other duties as assigned
