Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience in restaurant or retail environment
- Prefer some experience using a computer and register (POS) system
- A qualified applicant believes in showing up to work on time, well-groomed with a clean uniform ready to work
- They must be work well with others, be self-motivated, reliable and have a strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Work experience as a customer service rep or a cashier or in a similar role in sales
- Basic PC knowledge
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
- Good math skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- High school diploma or GED
Job Duties
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
- Cross-sell products
- Resolve customer complaints, and provide relevant information
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Maintain clean and tidy areas
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
