The Winery Chef role at Beaulieu Vineyard is a prestigious position responsible for leading all culinary operations and experiences within the winery. This position entails designing and implementing seasonal, wine-focused food programs that enhance tastings, special events, and private experiences. The successful candidate will be a talented culinary professional who can blend creativity with operational excellence, ensuring each menu reflects the winery’s brand and complements the wine story. Job Requirements
- 5-7 years of professional culinary experience including leadership in a commercial kitchen
- strong foundation in food safety, sanitation, and allergen awareness
- ability to create seasonal menus that pair intentionally with wine

Job Duties
- Create seasonal, wine-focused menus for tastings, events, and private experiences
- lead all kitchen operations, ensuring service readiness, consistency, and quality
- collaborate with hospitality and wine education teams to align food and wine storytelling
- manage food safety, sanitation, and compliance with all health regulations
- develop systems for prep, execution, inventory, and cleanup that scale with demand
- manage food and labor costs, minimize waste, and maintain cost targets
- hire, train, schedule, and develop kitchen staff
- foster a respectful, inclusive kitchen culture and provide clear feedback and coaching
- source ingredients thoughtfully, prioritizing local and seasonal partners
