We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Wine and Beer Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in delivering outstanding customer experiences by assisting patrons in selecting the perfect products to meet their tastes and needs. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about wine and beer, well-versed in domestic and imported varieties, and familiar with flavor profiles and industry trends. They must enhance our Customer 1st strategy by fostering an environment that encourages excellent service and promotes a safe, clean, and inviting store atmosphere. Additionally, the Wine and Beer Specialist will assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, monitor quality assurance standards, and support company safety programs. This is a full-time role that requires a passion for customer interaction, retail experience, and the ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining effective communication and basic math skills. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a wine proficiency test once employed. Fluency in a second language is considered an advantage.
