Job Description
Monsieur Touton Selection, MA, is a distinguished importer and distributor specializing in fine wines from renowned regions such as France, Italy, Spain, California, and other New World territories. With over 40 years of industry expertise, the company has firmly established itself as a leader in the wine distribution sector. Based out of New York, Monsieur Touton Selection prides itself on curating selections that appeal to both connoisseurs and a broad market, emphasizing quality, diversity, and authenticity. The company is currently experiencing remarkable growth and is actively expanding its sales force to capitalize on new and existing market opportunities.
The role being offered is for a self-driven and seasoned Wine Sales professional to oversee and develop one of Monsieur Touton Selection's premier territories. This territory encompasses a broad and vibrant consumer base across Boston, Brookline, Newton, Chestnut Hill, Watertown, Waltham, Westwood, and Norwood. The area includes some of the company’s top accounts yet still holds significant potential for expansion and growth. Candidates with previous distributor or supplier experience are highly preferred, complementing the dynamic nature of the role. Experience in restaurant or bar management is also advantageous, providing a unique insight into the hospitality sector and enhancing relationship-building capabilities.
As a Sales Professional with Monsieur Touton Selection, you will be entrusted with managing and expanding existing territories while identifying and establishing new accounts to drive market penetration. The company offers competitive commission structures, reimbursement for expenses, and the opportunity for monthly bonuses, making this role financially rewarding. Furthermore, comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, dental coverage, and a matching 401K plan, support employee well-being and long-term financial security.
The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude and a passionate commitment to the wine industry, paired with a strong work ethic and proven relationship-building skills. Deep knowledge of the fine wine market, especially relating to French, Italian, Spanish, and Californian wines, is essential. With many accounts already established, but plenty of untapped potential available, this position offers an exciting opportunity to advance a career in wine sales within a reputable company that values expertise and dedicated professionals.
