The role of Wine Sales Consultant at PRP Wine International is a full-time, hybrid position based in Charlotte, NC. This role offers a balanced mix of in-person engagements and remote work, providing flexibility and variety. As a Wine Sales Consultant, one will be responsible for conducting in-home and on-site wine sampling experiences that engage and educate clients. The consultant’s day-to-day activities involve prospecting for new customers, following up with existing clients, scheduling and hosting tastings, and showcasing PRP’s exclusive wine portfolio along with their unique gift services.

Building lasting client relationships is a core aspect of the role, requiring the consultant to understand each client’s wine preferences and recommend tailored wine selections, personalized labels, and bespoke corporate gift solutions. The consultant will also represent the company at local networking events, charitable functions, and fundraising tastings, increasing PRP’s brand visibility and contributing to business growth.

Success in this role demands strong sales acumen, a passion for wine education, and an ability to deliver engaging and enjoyable tasting experiences. The Wine Sales Consultant must be self-motivated, organized, and able to manage client interactions independently, while also being comfortable speaking to small groups and working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Travel within the local Charlotte area is part of the job, with a preference for candidates holding a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. While prior experience in wine sales, hospitality, or retail is beneficial, PRP provides comprehensive training to support new consultants in building their knowledge and skills.
